How should I store vanilla?
Keep the beans vacuum-packed until opening. After opening, store them in an airtight glass jar in a dry place in the kitchen.
How do I use vanilla beans?
Split a pod lengthwise, scrape out the seeds, and use the seeds in recipes. The pod can be steeped in warm liquid.
